Veracyte ESG Report 2025
01 — The challenge

Veracyte's report covers 11 sections, from patient access and product quality to cybersecurity and emissions, and reports against SASB standards. The design had to hold a large volume of disclosure and keep it readable on screen, while keeping the human story of the company's mission in view.

02 — My role

Lead Designer — Publications — working with Veracyte across 52-page landscape ESG report (16:9), cover, 9 section dividers, navigation system, stat tiles and icon set, data visualisation (emissions, board, workforce, safety).

03 — The approach
01

Opened with a cover that pairs lab photography, cut by white-stroked angled panels, with a bold blue title block

02

Built a persistent top navigation bar across every page, with the active section highlighted, so readers always know where they are in 52 pages

03

Gave each of the nine main sections a full-bleed divider page to pace the read and reset attention

04

Turned headline numbers into large-numeral stat tiles with icons, in a blue and purple palette, so the key figures land first

05

Presented emissions as paired donut charts (2023 vs 2024) with oversized figures and short scope definitions, so the year-on-year comparison is immediate

06

Placed SASB disclosure codes next to the metrics they refer to, so framework alignment is traceable at a glance
